ETHYNEMA® is an advanced ethylene absorber solution developed to extend the shelf life of fruits, vegetables, and flowers while slowing down their ripening process. By removing ethylene gas inside the packaging, it prevents premature ripening, spoilage, and decay.
What is an Ethylene Absorber?
Produced with ETHYNEMA®’s superior ethylene absorption technology, this solution effectively extends the shelf life of fruits, vegetables, and flowers while delaying ripening.
By eliminating ethylene gas within the packaging, it prevents premature ripening, spoilage, dehydration, tissue softening, discoloration, and decay.
ETHYNEMA® helps preserve the natural color, original weight, and firmness of fruits and vegetables. It ensures safe delivery of products during long export shipments until they reach their final destination.
Additionally, ETHYNEMA® inhibits the growth of bacteria, fungi, mold, and other microorganisms, ensuring freshness and quality for longer periods.
How to Use & Storage Conditions
Once removed from its vacuum-sealed PE packaging, ETHYNEMA® must be placed into the protection area within 2 hours.
Shelf life is 12 months from the date of production, provided the absorber remains sealed in its original vacuum barrier packaging.
Ethylene absorber sachets should always be stored under proper conditions inside protective barrier film until ready for use.
