What is NEMABAG® Mini ?

NEMABAG® Mini desiccant packs are non-dusting, tear-resistant moisture absorbers specially manufactured with Tyvek® packaging and composed of high-quality materials. Formed through the processing of NEMABAG® Mini silicon dioxide (SiO₂) into cream/crystal-white beads, they feature an open nano-porous structure with an average particle size of 2.1–2.7 mm and a surface area of approximately 800 m²/g. Thanks to this open nano-porous structure, NEMABAG® Mini can adsorb water molecules (moisture) for up to 90 days—up to 40% of its own weight and 300% of its volume. Its moisture adsorption capacity complies with DIN 55473 and MIL-D-3464E standards.

Designed for use in homes, offices, boxes, chests, cabinets, beds, drawers, and similar enclosed areas, NEMABAG® Mini effectively absorbs moisture within product packaging to prevent the harmful effects of humidity, corrosion, mold, and degradation. Packaged in specially produced Tyvek® material, it functions as a high-performance desiccant and dehumidifier.

NEMABAG® Mini protects both the enclosed area and the products against moisture, dampness, and corrosion, ensuring safety and reliability. Offering a simple, effective, and cost-efficient solution to prevent moisture-related damage in confined spaces, these desiccant packs made from processed industrial zeolite create a dry environment for export goods and other enclosed areas, keeping products preserved and protected.

Specifically designed for narrow and compact enclosed spaces, NEMABAG® Mini efficiently adsorbs ambient moisture, helping to prevent condensation, corrosion, mold, and humidity-related deterioration.

How Does NEMABAG® Mini Work?

Once placed inside an enclosed space, NEMABAG® Mini immediately begins absorbing moisture from the surrounding air.

It reduces the internal temperature, ensuring a safe and dry environment.

Thanks to its zeolite-rich mineral structure, it captures water molecules within its wide internal surface layers and holds them securely.

This provides continuous protection against moisture, dampness, corrosion, mold, and odor damage during storage or transportation, depending on the amount of desiccant used.

Usage & Storage Conditions

• Once removed from their vacuum-sealed PE packaging, NEMABAG® Mini sachets immediately begin absorbing moisture.

• Therefore, they must be placed reliably into the protection area within 2 hours.

• Shelf life is 12 months from the production date, as long as the sachets remain inside their original sealed barrier packaging.

• For safe storage, keep desiccant sachets in protective barrier film under proper storage conditions until use.
