Nemaş Nem Personal Data Protection Law Clarification Text

Data Controller and Representative:

Nemaş Nem (“Company”) shows the utmost sensitivity regarding the security of your personal data. With this awareness, the Company gives great importance to the processing and storage of the personal data of all individuals related to Nemaş Nem in accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). Your personal data may be processed by Nemaş Nem, as the data controller, within the scope described below.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data:

The personal data obtained, within the scope of Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, will be processed for the purposes of: carrying out human resources processes and activities within the legal framework, planning and implementing information security processes, establishing and managing information technology infrastructure, monitoring financial and accounting operations, ensuring facility and personnel security, conducting, planning, and implementing efficiency and adequacy analyses of commercial activities, determining and implementing commercial and business strategies, fulfilling contractual and legal obligations of the company, evaluating, responding to, and improving suggestions, requests, or complaints submitted through the website.

Transfer of Personal Data:

Your collected personal data may be transferred to our affiliates, business partners, suppliers, and authorized public institutions or third parties in accordance with the legislation for the fulfillment of the above-mentioned purposes. Such transfers may be carried out domestically or internationally, within the framework of Articles 8 and 9 of the KVKK.

Scope of Personal Data:

As Nemaş Nem, in the capacity of data controller, we may process, store, update, and transfer to third parties your personal data, such as name, surname, address, profession, education, e-mail, phone, date of birth, IP address, website login information, based on your explicit consent and/or legal requirements, taking necessary administrative and technical measures.

Method of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Basis:

Your personal data are collected and stored by our company through various communication channels (web form, e-mail, phone, etc.). The collection is based on your consent or contractual/legal obligations in accordance with the KVKK and related legislation.

Rights of Personal Data Owners:

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, personal data owners have the following rights: to learn whether their personal data are processed, to request information regarding processed personal data, to learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose, to know third parties in the country or abroad to whom personal data are transferred, to request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, to request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons for processing no longer exist, to object to results generated by automated systems that negatively affect the person, and to demand compensation for damages resulting from unlawful processing.

Retention Period of Personal Data:

The personal data you share will be retained for the period prescribed by KVKK and related legislation. If no period is specified, your data will be retained for 2 years.
